On 17 July Longship took delivery of Longeden, the fourth and final vessel in the series of diesel-electric general cargo ships built by Atlas Shipyard.
As stated, this delivery completes the company’s fleet modernization with four ultra-low-emission ships. Equipped with diesel-electric propulsion systems, these vessels are expected to reduce bunker fuel consumption by nearly 45% compared to conventional ships of similar size.
Furthermore, they are designed for highly efficient fuel use and incorporate advanced eco-friendly technologies.
